Apple's Upcoming iPod Release Aaron Goldberg

Apple's New iPhone Will Target Gen-Y Users

The problem

Although Apple's iPhone is the most popular mobile device out in today's market, it is only offered to customers who use the AT&T Wireless phone service. Also, the iPhone's 3G network has a limit, which can lead to lagging and slow speed.

Proximity's Social Media Solution / Recommendation
Proximity focus group results show that Gen Y users demand a larger and faster network. This will be solved by offering the iPhone to Verizon Wireless customers as well as AT&T customers. Verizon's switch from the 3G to 4G network will bring in an even greater demand for their service. Apple will also release the iPhone 4.0 this summer. This will enable Apple to monopolize the Gen Y smartphone market.

This report details how Apple will develop a stronghold on Gen Y users who purchase smartphones.
